Our military needs to be strong. We need to examine the kinds of armaments we need for 21st Century conflicts and we need to take care of those who serve the nation.
The healthcare and social needs of our soldiers and veterans should be a top priority. The price we pay as a nation to those who fight for us is that we need to make sure that they and their families are cared for physically, emotionally, and socially. We need the materials that will protect the United States but we have a far greater responsibility to keep our warriors healthy. We need to understand that isolation can be a deadly part of their return to civilian life and provide the opportunities to meet the threat of PTSD and other service-related conditions.
